Sexual Respect in Legal Workplaces (Student-Led)

How do we cultivate respectful workplaces? How does harassment manifest in the workplace, and how can we address it? Discuss these questions and more in this interactive and law student-oriented workshop. Developed and led by law student peer facilitators.

Consent (Student-Led)

How does the New York Penal Code define consent? How does this compare to Columbia University’s policy? Learn about consent in this interactive and law student-oriented workshop. Developed and led by law student peer facilitators.

Bystander Empowerment (Student-Led)

Learn reasons and strategies to intervene in sexual harassment and assault, and discuss challenges to intervention in this interactive and law student-oriented workshop. Led by law student peer facilitators.

Sexual Respect in the Legal Workplace (Student-Led)

The Columbia Law Feminist Society (CLFS) hosts an interactive discussion exploring sexual respect in legal workplaces including how to cultivate respect, how gender-based harassment manifests, and how to address issues. Developed and led by law student peer facilitators.

Intersectionality and Structural Violence

Understand intersectionality by learning how social identities, oppression, and privilege impact daily life, especially in relationships. This session will connect intersectionality to the experience of survivors and examine potential barriers to services. Led by Sexual Violence Response staff and volunteers.
