The Gender-Based Misconduct Prevention Task Force engages students, faculty and administrators from across the University on programming and other efforts to reduce the incidence of sexual assault, sexual harassment and other gender-based misconduct at Columbia. 

Become a Sexual Violence Response Peer Advocate or Peer Educator

Volunteer with Columbia Health’s Sexual Violence Response as a Peer Educator or Peer Advocate to participate in educational workshops and support your peers in the campus community.

Workshops and trainings covering consent, pro-social bystander intervention and in-depth discussions on multiple topics are available year-round to students through Sexual Violence Response. 

Write to the Advisory Committee on Sexual Assault

The Presidential Advisory Committee on Sexual Assault (PACSA) serves in an advisory capacity to evaluate policies and procedures, solicit feedback from the Columbia community, and partner with experts across the University to eliminate sexual assault and other forms of gender-based misconduct.
